Corrosion Engineer

We are looking for a Corrosion Engineer to join Hawiyah Gas Plant Department (HGPD) under Gas Operations Admin Area.
Hawiyah Gas Plant (HGP) was brought on stream in September 2001 as the first gas plant in Saudi Aramco that processed only non-associated gas. HGP current processing capacity is 2.5 BSCFD of feed gas and 240 MBD of Hydrocarbon condensate. HGP receives sour and sweet feed gas through two gas manifolds, Hawiyah and Haradh that have more than 200 wells connected to them from Hawiyah, Juaf, Uthmaniyah and Haradh fields.
You will conduct special studies and analyses in a specialized corrosion control field, such as cathodic protection, water treatment, chemical inhibition or materials selection. Also, provide specialized technical corrosion control services and consultation. Minimum Requirements As a successful candidate you should hold a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. MSc in materials/corrosion science is desirable.
You must have 10 years in the Gas/Oil industry; or similar.
You must have a strong knowledge of engineering practices and economic principles, calculation methods, design details, and international standards and codes ASTM especially inspection and corrosion standards.
You must have experience and knowledge in material science and metrology.
You must has knowledge at different NDT technology and their applications
You must have knowledge in engineering aspect of welding.
You must have NACE senior corrosion technologist certification from the National Association of Corrosion engineers (NACE).
You must have the following certifications: API 570, API 510, API 653, API 571, API 580, and API 579. Duties & Responsibilities You will be required to perform the following:
Provide expert advice and assistance to design, construction, operations and maintenance personnel on matters pertaining to a corrosion control area.
Perform special studies in corrosion control.
Review operations and monitoring activities associated with corrosion control facilities to identify needed system modifications or procedural changes.
Keep current with significant developments in corrosion control, with emphasis on incumbent's area of specialty, through technical literature, participation in professional and industry society meetings, etc.
Develop and review corrosion damage mechanism for all plant units. Also, optimize the required and proper type of NDT inspection.
Investigate corrosion related failure, identify the root causes and develop the required actions that prevent reoccurrence.
Help of deploying the inspection & corrosion state of art technologies that could enhance our inspection activities and accuracy.
Work collaboratively with process engineering to enhance plant chemical treatment that may have integrity impact of our assets.
